Interview SHINee di Ori Suta Juni 2011, membicarakan rencana mereka untuk bisa sukses di Jepang

- Anda debut pada tahun 2008 di Korea dan akan memulai aktivitas Anda di Jepang. Kapan kelahiran SHINee sebagai suatu group?

Minho: Kami melewati audisi dan kemudian dilatih sebagai SHINee selama sekitar satu tahun sebelum memulai debut di Korea.

Key : Kami memiliki aktivitas dengan konsep dari band kontemporer sejak debut di Korea. Ini berarti kami mengejar tren terbaru dalam segala hal mulai dari musik, tarian sampai fashion. Bagian ini tidak akan berubah di Jepang.

- Sekarang Anda memasuki tahun ke-4 Anda bersama-sama. Apa kesan pertama Anda terhadap anggota lain?

Taemin: Minho hyung memiliki mata yang besar, orang yang baik hati, dan mempunyai style baik. Jadi saya pikir dia bukan orang Korea (tertawa). Dia gugup ketika ia berbicara kepada saya mungkin karena dia tertutup, jadi saya pikir dia lebih muda dari saya. Hyung Key membuat kesan yang kuat dari awal karena fashionnya yang mencolok (tertawa).

- Kapan Anda mulai menyukai yang mencolok? Dari masa kanak-kanak?

Key: Sejak sekolah menengah. Itu adalah waktu puncak (tertawa).

Taemin: hyung Jonghyun bernyanyi dengan sangat baik! Saya pikir ia bernyanyi bahkan ketika kita pertama kali bertemu. Onew hyung memberikan perasaan hangat karena image suaranya yang lembut.

Key: Karena aku merasa bersahabat dengan semua orang dari awal, saya pikir kita akan baik bersama-sama.

Jonghyun: Saya agak pendiam, jadi aku tidak memulai pembicaraan yang lebih agresif (tertawa).

- Apa yang Anda perhatikan sebagai band kontemporer?

Minho: Kami mencoba untuk mengejar hal-hal baru daripada membandingkan kami dengan kelompok lain. Kami memperhatikan untuk tetap berorientasi masa depan.

Key: Jadi saya memeriksa setiap musik terbaru dalam negeri maupun luar negeri!

- Sudah 3 tahun sejak Anda debut di Korea. Apakah Anda pernah memiliki waktu yang sulit?

Jonghyun: Kami belum memiliki tujuan yang spesifik. Karena kita berusaha untuk menikmati musik kami, kami tidak punya waktu tertentu yang kami pikir itu sulit.

- Jadi maksud Anda, Anda bias jadi seperti sekarang karena Anda telah berlatih setiap hari dan belajar dari pengalaman?

Semua: Ya!

Minho: Kami ingin menunjukkan perbaikan yang kami buat untuk fans, sehingga kami bekerja keras setiap hari! Kami pikir hasilnya adalah penghargaan artis baru yang kami terima (di Korea).

- Anda punya konser pada akhir tahun lalu, yang menarik lebih dari 20.000 orang bahkan sebelum Anda debut. Bukankah itu membuat Anda menyadari popularitas anda di Jepang?

Onew: Sebenarnya kami tidak memiliki sebuah konser skala besar saat di Korea. Konser di Jepang adalah pertama kalinya kami. Banyak orang datang untuk melihat kita bahkan sebelum debut kami dan bersorak bagi kami penuh gairah. Kami gugup di babak pertama, namun mampu menunjukkan yang terbaik dari kami di babak kedua.

Jonghyun: Terus terang, saya prihatin tentang berapa banyak orang yang akan datang karena itu sebelum debut kami. Semuanya adalah pengalaman pertama kami, jadi dukungan mereka benar-benar menggembirakan.
